Japanese lesson

The cognitive and social benefits of learning a foreign language at an early age have been well documented and researched. Young children, with their innate capacity for language, are able to soak up new languages like a sponge, absorbing information with higher efficiency and understanding than adults. The golden period for such activity, is between the ages of 2 and 5, during which time young learners that are exposed to a new language such as Japanese, have shown marked improvement in concentration, lexical awareness, problem-solving skills, articulation, and memory.
